This past Sunday, Jim got the opportunity to preach at 2nd Baptist here in Fort Dodge. June is Youth Month at 2nd Baptist with the teens providing all of the announcements, special music, etc. Likewise, the sermons have all been focused on the young people of the church. In light of the holiday celebrated earlier this week, today we are grateful for freedom. The freedom to discuss ideas openly, the freedom to worship how and when the Spirit leads, the fact that our children have the freedom to pursue the careers of their dreams . . . this nation may not be perfect – then again, is any nation perfect? – but the freedoms we have should not be taken for granted.
